The external dimensions describe the machine itself, rather than the opening required for installation.
Features that matter during service
A 500 mm square rack for your everyday dishes
Rack size matters when you’re buying a replacement. A larger basket gives you more room to arrange crockery, but a deep bowl and a flat plate take up that space differently. If you want to reuse your existing plate racks or cutlery baskets, send us their measurements and a photo before ordering.
A predictable two-minute cycle
With a fixed cycle, staff know how long the wash program runs once a load starts. When planning for a rush, also allow time to scrape plates, load the basket and put clean dishes away. If those steps are where the queue builds up, we’ll look at the bench layout as well as the dishwasher.
Pumped drainage beneath the bench
The GS900DP comes with a drain pump and a rinse-aid pump. If you’re replacing a gravity-drain machine or retaining an existing chemical dosing system, let us know. We’ll check the waste connection and confirm the dosing equipment included in your quote.
Will the GS900DP fit beneath your existing bench?
Start by measuring the clear opening where the dishwasher will go. Measure between the bench legs or cabinet sides, from the floor to the underside of the bench, and from the front edge to the nearest obstruction at the back. A pipe or shelf can reduce the usable depth.
Before recommending installation, we’ll check:
Bench and aisle space: Is there room for the machine, connections and servicing? Can staff open the door and lift out a full rack without blocking the aisle?
Power, water and drainage: Where are the existing connections, and are they suitable for the machine being supplied?
Dish clearance: Will your tallest items fit when positioned in the correct rack?
Delivery access: Can the old machine come out and the replacement come in through the available doors and passages?

Installation of your new dishwasher and removal of the old one

GS800DP or GS900DP: which should you buy?
The clearest differences are rack size, rated output and the bench space required. Both machines have a fixed two-minute cycle. The GS800DP uses a 450 × 450 mm basket and is rated at 350 plates per hour. The GS900DP takes a 500 × 500 mm basket, is rated at 480 plates per hour and is 85 mm deeper.
If you’re choosing between them, measure the depth beneath your bench and check the size of your existing racks. If your dishes return faster than staff can unload and reload a front-opening machine, we can also help you compare a pass-through dishwasher.

Will the GS900DP fit in a 600 mm wide opening?
Don’t assume it will. 600 mm is the published machine width, so an opening of exactly 600 mm leaves no allowance for clearance. Send us the narrowest width, usable depth and height beneath the bench. We’ll confirm what your installation requires before you buy.
Can I use my existing racks and wash my largest plates?
The GS900DP takes a 500 × 500 mm basket and has a published loading height of 300 mm. Basket dimensions alone don’t guarantee compatibility, and loading height is not a guaranteed maximum plate diameter. Send us a photo of your rack and the dimensions of your largest items so we can assess them together.
Is the GS900DP the same machine as the GS900DP-RO?
No. They are separate model listings. If you’re looking for a reverse-osmosis setup, specify GS900DP-RO when enquiring so we can confirm the water-treatment equipment and connections included in that package.
Is installation free, and will you take our old dishwasher?
Installation may be free where the existing setup is suitable. We can take away your old dishwasher when we install the replacement. Include both requests in your enquiry and we’ll confirm the scope and any charges before you proceed.
What warranty and local support do you provide?
Worldwide CDM provides a 24-month parts and labour warranty on Lamber machines purchased through us, subject to warranty terms. Our team also provides commercial dishwasher servicing, repairs and parts assistance across Sydney and the Central Coast.
